James Aberdein-Tapuai

Welcome to our blog on James where we will endeavour to keep you all updated with how he is doing in his battle with (APML) leukaemia. James' parents are Alii and Jak and he is 10 years old (born 30/5/01). He has 3 beautiful sisters, Alofa, Ria and Tali, a dog "Wags" and a cat "Pusspuss". His favourite sports are Rugby and Judo with the All Blacks and Hurricanes his favourite teams. He played rugby for the Wainuiomata Under 10's this year and belongs to the Wainuiomata Judo club.

Heartfelt from Jak

I met a family today at CHOC whose 4 year old son was just diagnosed with Leukemia and I could see on her face that she was in shock and I then realised that was me 2 months ago - James and I have been in Christchurch for 2 months! I really felt for this woman.
